Local attractions in and around Indianapolis are celebrating the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, Jan. 16, by offering Indiana residents the opportunity to engage in their activities for FREE.
White River State Park will accept one canned good per person, per activity, in exchange for free admission.
You can enjoy the Eiteljorg Museum, IMAX Theater, Indiana State Museum, Indianapolis Zoo, NCAA Hall of Champions, and/or Victory Field all day on Monday for one canned good each attraction!
Additionally, a blood drive will be held at the IMAX Theater. Donors will receive free popcorn. Victory Field will offer free health screenings indoors.
The Indianapolis Museum of Art is sponsoring a day of free programs and activities to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
And finally, Conner Prairie, the Indianapolis history park, will offer free admission all day (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) in honor of Dr. King’s life and work.
